So what is it with me and my photographs that I share?
To be honest, I take them for myself not social media platforms with the purpose of getting likes and what not.
However, Photography is also not just capturing an image. We are also capturing the emotions, the atmosphere, and the context of that moment. We are creating a snapshot of our lives that can be revisited and relived time and time again.
A way of recording our experiences and memories, art of capturing a moment in time and preserving it for posterity. It is a way of recording our experiences and memories, and sharing them with others.
Taking a photograph is more than just pressing a button. It is about capturing a moment and making a memory.
When I take the time to compose my shot, wait for the right lighting, and exercising patience, well to be honest it doesn’t always go as I thought but when it does, I’m a happy man.
When I photograph the landscape before me, such as a sunset, a forest, or a mountain, I’m trying to capture the beauty of the natural world at that moment. I can look back at these photographs and be transported to those special places and special moments.
It’s about being in the moment, about being there. Being in the moment, slowing down and appreciate what’s around me.
When I’m in the “zone” I’m more likely to notice the details of the landscape, such as the way the light is falling on the trees or the sound of the wind in the grass.
Taking photographs helps me to reduce stress and anxiety.
When I’m focused on the moment, I’m less likely to worry about the past or the future.
